Growing Aches and Pains!

Who said growing up was easy? I love to see the changes that appear daily but growing up can be hard to do!
Aubrey cuddles with Austin. Who better to understand the bumps and bruises?

"Oh, my aching head!" Aubrey has been walking a lot more lately, but with all the walking there is more falling.

"I'm sooooo Tired" well, that's what I hope she was thinking! Sleeping is hard when you have all four molars cutting through at the same time!

Here are some of her most noticeable bumps! Monday she hit her forehead, Tuesday she scraped by her eye. I hope this is close to the end of this growth spurt.

A week of Celebrations

Some small, some BIG, but always something to celebrate!

These are after dinner at church. Having a meal with friends is always something special.

Gramma's home! After spending many months in a nursing home recovering from a broken leg, Gramma came home Saturday. She is soooooo glad to be home!

♫Happy Birthday to You!♫ Our very own JJ as turned 11! Where does all the time go? She got to celebrate he birthday at least 3 times. I think she enjoyed them all!

On Sunday we went to celebrate a coming addition to our extended family. I didn't get very many pictures of the actual party, I decided to participate instead.

Well, I took a picture of my gift before we left. I thought it looked pretty. Tie-died burp rags, fun to look at and an absolute necessity!

Good luck Amanda! I can't wait to meet your little Blessing!

Just a few more pictures of us at the party...

Maybe this next week we can celebrate some more!

More Aubrey Antics

Here she is again! Up to some more new tricks. The worst one is crawling through the cat door and up the stairs. She's done this twice without getting caught until she's at the top. So to prevent this I put a container in front of the door. Just one more adventure to her!
Wow, I'm getting good at catching her falling. No, she did not fall off. I really did have time to catch her and she was not falling when I started to take the picture!

I was just going to show that she can climb down now but Kesia surprised us both!

Uh-oh! She's gonna figure out how to get through now. I guess it's time to take the door off and get a gate up. How long do you think it will take for her get over that?

King of the Container?

I apologize for the clothes or lack of them. It's pretty warm here and I hate to make them sweat just to look good. :-)
It's Aubrey again showing off her newest skills. She can climb almost anything. Getting down, now that's still a little hard but she's getting better.
I couldn't get the camera out fast enough to catch her climbing the first time.

Can you see those muscles strain? No Pain, No Gain, I guess.

Kesia needed to join in and make sure she doesn't fall of backwards.

Aubrey isn't sure she wants to share her container with Austin. Actually right after this picture she started hitting him.
Since these pictures, Aubrey has tipped over her container. I think she may take a break. I really hope so!

How does our garden grow?

Well, it grows strawberries, cucumbers, tomatoes, and other yummy stuff!
Here is the garden in the tub. Isn't that cool?

Look! I actually have a green pepper growing!

Here are the cucumber and pumpkin plants. We just got them planted to it's a little messy.

See all the blossoms on the cucumber plant? I can't wait to actually eat one.
In case you were wondering. That is shredded paper around all the plants. We had a bunch and I figure junk mail has to be good for something!

More Aubrey

Ok, So it's easier to keep track of her so I have lots more pictures of her. Here are a few of the most recent ones...

Thank you Gramma Marcia. Don't I look cute in the outfit you gave me?

I am trying to knit a "prayer shawl" for a friend. Do you see what I put up with to get anything done? First, I get attacked by the cat and Aubrey and then when I turn my back Aubrey thinks she can finish it for me. Just another day in our lives!

In the Garden...

♫"I come to the garden alone...."♫

Well, I never really do anything alone! Last Saturday JJ and Kesia went to work in the Church's new garden. Thank you Bob and Barb for sharing your knowledge!

Beach Anyone?

Last week we spent a few days with my sister-in-law and her family. While we were there Grandpa Free took to kids to the beach. It was really windy as you can tell, but who cares they're at the BEACH!!!!

JJ and Austin smile for Grandpa! Look at that wind go. They are supposedly wave running. Kesia said, "I only got in up to my knees!

Kesia JJ and Sean stop for a second to pose! Isn't he sweet? I think so!
Here are some more pictures... Thanks Grandpa Free for so many great ones!

Aubrey-zilla!

Ok, so she's not a monster, but she sure throws those cars around like one...

Aubrey has been working on walking for a while. She can take multiple steps if she's holding a hand. Today she found a new skill though.

She can stand without help, even while holding her brother's cars.

"I think I need this other one to balance me." Austin thinks it's funny that his little sister can stand up by herself.

"Look what I can do! Shall I crash them now?" OOPS!! I think the train was just too much.
Doesn't she look cute when she's falling?
